Self-flying camera

A self-flying camera is a pocket-sized drone built for one job: filming the person who launched it. You pick a shot, like follow, orbit or pull back, and it flies that path by itself.

Most take off from your open palm and land back on it. Because nobody is steering, they rely on the camera to keep you in view, and many have few or no sensors to avoid branches.

Example: a runner sets a palm-sized drone to follow mode, and it trails behind and above for ten minutes, then comes back to land on their hand.
